WESG provides a range of opportunities designed to help our members improve their own readiness and by extension the wider resilience of the West End. In addition to individual advice and guidance, our focus is on establishing influential and productive links and partnerships at the appropriate level as well as organising a variety of events for the benefit of our members.
Consultancy Support
WESG employs consultant advisors to ensure our members receive a full range of tangible benefits. With extensive and diverse security, crisis management and broader business experience at the strategic, tactical and operational level our consultants are well placed to provide meaningful and practical support
Gap Analysis
Our members benefit from the expertise of in-house WESG consultancy support in the form of a review of their own security, business continuity and crisis management arrangements. Ongoing assistance is provided in helping to develop and implement organisational action plans to address any vulnerabilities identified during the review
Seminars & Events
We hold a number of bespoke events each year with a focus on providing our members with access to existing best practice and emerging thinking in the field of counter terrorism, business resilience and crisis management. Members benefit from the chance to discuss current challenges and consider innovative approaches to shape their own plans with key individuals in these areas.
Training and Exercising
WESG facilitates access to new and ongoing training products provided by the police and other services and in addition holds an annual tabletop exercise in conjunction with key partners. The exercise is the cornerstone of our action planning activity and helps to shape and inform our ongoing initiatives in respect to preparing for, responding to and recovering from crises.
